After a brief welcome from the principals, the bells will sound (starting at 6:30 sharp) and you'll be off to follow your student's schedule. Each "period" will meet for a short time giving you the opportunity to meet your student's teachers.

A few things to keep in mind if you plan to attend:

• It may be helpful to have a copy of your student's schedule ahead of time. The office staff is willing to print a schedule for you when you arrive but with a large number of people making this request, the wait may cause you to miss the early parts of Open House. Have your student jot down his/her schedule including teachers' names and room numbers or print a copy through Skyward Family Access.
• Open House is not necessarily a time to engage in an in-depth dialogue with your student's teachers. Each "period" is intended to be a time for the teachers to introduce themselves and to provide some basic information about the class. If you have detailed questions -- especially ones specific to your student -- please contact the teacher(s) via email or phone. If needed, you could schedule a time to meet with them individually.
