RECOGNITION HISTORY

Mahomet-Seymour students are recognized for a variety of awards and honors throughout their high school careers. Below are links to the history of a few of the most recognizable honors.

DAR / SAR - Selected by their peers and/or school faculty based on qualities of leadership, dependability, service, and patriotism.

National Merit Scholars - Representing a very small percentage of seniors nationwide, these students are recongnized based on PSAT results.

Valedictorian / Salutatorian - Recognized as the top students in their graduating class.
